Flybmi operates from 2 new routes
Skiathos Airport's entrance.

Flybmi is happy to announce that it will begin operating routes from 2 new airports, including the return of operations at our Edinburgh base. After a long discussion with airport management at Edinburgh, Flybmi is able to start it's services to Las Palmas on it's scheduled aircraft as previously done.

The relocation of our Boeing 737 aircraft, Airbus A319 aircraft and Airbus A320 aircraft to Edinburgh is already taking place from our base at East Midlands. We are able to confirm that the equipment will be ready for the next departure from the airport. We'd again like to apologise for all passengers who were inconvenienced by the brief pause to our operations from the airport, and we are excited to be able to resume the service.

As well as bringing our Edinburgh route back, we will also be launching a new route from Skiathos Airport to the regional airport of Olsztyn-Mazury airport in Poland. This route will be operated by bmibaby on a 737 series of aircraft, and bmi Regional on an ATR72-600 series of aircraft. At the moment, we are unable to confirm when the first use of the ATR72-600 will be - the aircraft are currently on order and we are expecting delivery within the next few weeks.

We'd like to thank our staff team who have worked tirelessly with us over the past few weeks in order to ensure we could resume normal services. As well as this, we'd like to thank passengers for holding tight with as we have worked to get the routes back up and running in time for winter.

We can't wait to take you to Poland over the next few weeks!
